your work is so gorgeous, i love the stylized clouds and the addition of the petroglyphs in the top one- really gives the scenes a sense of underlying history.
any reason for the repeated herons/egrets(or whatever slim long-necked bird it is)? or are you just fond of them?

Yes, they are egrets or birds resembling the family. I have a series of favorite poems by Derek Walcott and they always remind me of fleeting things. Of something lost or resignation. Here is more info on them in particular. [link]

Thanks for the kind words. I don't think anyone has noticed the egret thing before.
